Workshop

We borrow the phrase “to be a fly on the wall”, not as a metaphor for detached witnessing, but as a figure of non-linear engagement. The fly comes and goes, hovers, attunes through vibration, and returns in its own time, challenging dominant expectations of continuous participation. It reminds us that presence in shared spaces can flicker, that it may be quiet, asynchronous, and felt through resonance rather than in real time.

This gathering-workshop explores how crip and neurodivergent notions of space-time can open alternate modes of collective experience and co-presence. We will shift between individual reflection, collective exploration and shared sensory and movement practices, while also making room to do nothing, witness, roam, or digest. How can we arrive on our own terms? How can we come and go, drift or pause, while still being part of a shared space? What bodily, spatial, or temporal tactics do we (already) use to gather, sustain, and attune to one another differently?
