Experience
This wants to be more than a performance. It is a meeting. A small walk or a spot we find to sit. A quiet conversation between you, me, someone else and the world around us.
We are holding two fanzines. They are different, but they belong together. You read one, someone reads the other.
We ask: Can a dance live outside of time? Can we meet without needing to begin or end? Can we pause together? Can attention turn into care? Can noticing become a kind of friendship?
With the fanzine, we are not a crowd. We are a small group. Because big crowds are hard for me. Let’s walk, stay, read, wait, feel and talk. Let’s see what we can notice together.
Language:
The introduction will be held in English spoken language. Whispered German interpretation is available upon request.
Access:
The performance can be entered and exited at any point during the 4-hour timeframe.
Experiencing the full performance takes approximately one hour.
The fanzine will be made available as an accessible PDF in both German and English. It will remain accessible online after the event.
The on-site event is interactive and requires reading together.
From 30 minutes before the performance, an access assistant will be available in the space to answer questions about the accessibility of the performance. Communication is possible in German and English (written and verbal).
The performance space will not be quiet — multiple conversations may take place in parallel.
Listening is a central part of this event. There will be no DGS interpretation.
Studio 6 is step-free accessible, but includes a raised wooden floor area that can be reached via a ramp with a 1.5% incline.
The room is equipped with bean bags, mats, chairs, and wheelchair places. Please reserve a wheelchair place prior to the event.
Blankets, water, and sugar will be available in the space.
Tactile floor boundaries are marked inside the space.
Sighted assistants will be present on site.
Free FFP2 masks are available for every event. Please remember that some people cannot wear masks for communication.
If people ask you to keep distance, please respect their wish.
Participation outside the space (outdoors) is possible.
If you experience symptoms of a cold or fever, please stay at home. Event details may vary up to one week before the performances.
Please check our website shortly beforehand for the latest program information.
