In the bed audiences, the expertise of the Cross-Community artists is opened up to a larger group of people. The artists hold space in a bed and welcome the audience to engage in urgent conversations, first encounters, and shared time.
Language:
The original language of this bed audience is English spoken language. Interpretation into DGS will be available. If required, German whisper interpretation can be offered.
Access:
The event takes place on Zoom.
The event will be streamed into the festival tent, so in-person participation is also possible.
Bed audiences are relaxed spaces for a limited number of people. Interaction and conversation are at the core of the event.
Individual orientation in the space is possible starting one hour before the event.
Early access with an access pilot is possible upon request.
Soft arrival begins 30 minutes before the event starts.
The tent is step-free accessible.
Inside the tent, there are bean bags, mats, chairs, wheelchair spaces (please register in advance), blankets, water, sugar, and stim toys.
Tactile floor boundaries are marked inside the space.
A sighted guide will be available on site.
This event requires a negative Covid test. Free tests can be provided on site — please arrive in good time before the event begins.
Remote access
Free FFP2 masks are available for every event. Please remember that some people cannot wear masks for communication.
If people ask you to keep distance, please respect their wish.
