Performance

Together with people for whom the bed is more than just a place where they sleep at night, Jeanne Eschert has developed the practice of bedfold reading. The performance provides an insight into the resulting ritual with magic tricks, which makes the bed appear as a magical place.

The image shows a white, slightly crumpled surface, probably fabric or paper. Several small, shiny silver balls are scattered on it. In the foreground, a small piece of paper or cardboard can be seen, slightly raised. It is white with a pink pattern and a yellow dot on it. The background is blurred, placing the focus on the balls and the paper in the foreground.
